The Eden Centre, a major shopping centre in High Wycombe, offers retail, leisure and residential space in a multi-million pound development that spearheads the overall regeneration of the High Wycombe town centre.
The new shopping centre encompasses a new bus station, library, cinema, bowling alley and 48 new apartments. Just fifteen days from opening, the Eden Centre celebrated its one millionth visitor; representing the interest generated by this prestigious and luxurious shopping and leisure complex.
Munnelly Logistics undertook a full logistics package from 2005-2008 working for Multiplex UK Ltd. Due to the area already being used as a busy shopping hub, coupled with the large residential area surrounding the site, the challenge for Munnelly Logistics was to ensure there was good interface with the public on behalf of our Client, all the while managing the strict delivery schedule to guarantee that all deliveries came in as booked and on time.
While The Eden Centre was being built, the fencing around the site contained ‘vision holes’ so that visitors and residents to the area could see the progress being made. The entertainment complex and library were both officially opened on the 9th July 2008 by Price Edward Earl of Wessex.
