Trainee Site Access Controllers (SACs)
Hours & Days: Mid-Week & Weekend Working including Night Shifts on Railway Construction Sites.
MacRail is the leading provider of rail site access control and reporting services within the UK. Based in the South West of England, MacRail offers expertise in the real-time management of engineering works through its use of innovative IT solutions and technology. Its primary focus is to monitor and improve the productivity and safety of on-site workers through the collation of data and information. Using bespoke reporting software, MacRail's clients have access to an online suite of reports, schedules and personnel registers that provide a real-time status of their work-site 24/7.
We are recruiting for Railway Site Access Controllers (SACs) across the UK, currently we are recruiting for railway construction and engineering sites in the Bristol, York and Newcastle. The requirement is for midweek and weekend day and night shift workers.
Site Access Controllers operate at railway construction sites day and night and seven days a week. Shifts are generally between 10 and 12 hours in length. Ideally you will be seeking 1-2 shifts per week and where possible will be flexible to work across the whole weekend.
As a SAC you will need to be able to work on your own but as part of a safety-focused team working on a railway construction site. Your key responsibilities will be to:

Experience of the rail industry and/or site access is not essential, but would be advantage.
You must have a full UK driving license and have access to a car
