Originally, Chelsea Bridge Wharf was a derelict site under mined by its riverside setting. Today, Chelsea Bridge Wharf is a vibrant residential, leisure and commercial centre; comprising of 9 apartment buildings set on a central landscape courtyard and piazza.

There is a 4-star Pestana Hotel and Spa, a cafe / delicatessen and also a wellness centre. It is London’s most glamorous riverside development located just 0.75 miles from Sloane Square and adjacent to the wide open spaces of Battersea Park.

Chelsea Bridge Wharf is a flagship development for Berkeley Homes and Munnelly Logistics successfully completed phases 1-5. In particular, the focus of the logistics package we delivered was on sustainability and waste management for the project. Munnelly Logistics implemented a ‘No Waste’ philosophy which employed a variety of initiatives incorporating the tag-lines reduce, reuse and recycle. This notion placed a heavy emphasis on reducing levels of waste via education and management of Sub-Contractors.

Due to the project being heavily influenced with the continuity of trade contractors, benchmarks were set for each individual phase to encourage Sub-Contractors to outperform previous targets with a reduction in waste generated and increased recycling over the project duration. High waste producers of plasterboard, block work and packaging were highlighted and segregated on site using wheelie bins at the workface.
