Waste Streams
In order to maximise the amount of waste we can recycle, we look to target as many individual waste streams on a project as possible.
An example of this is our treatment of plasterboard. Plasterboard often forms the single largest waste stream produced and is one of the most expensive materials to dispose of.
Munnelly Environmental will operate a separate waste stream for plasterboard, segregating the material at the workface. We will then issue the dry-lining Contractor labelled bins and operate plasterboard only collections during the week. The loads will then be taken to a local Material Recycling Facility for consolidation and finally on to a manufacturer for recycling.
This process ensures we achieve a recycling rate of 100% for plasterboard and also lays precedence across the board with all of our waste streams.
