Materials Handling & Consolidation
Munnelly Logistics will organise a project into agreed zones and all materials handling with be closely co-ordinated with the Delivery Management System (DMS).
Typically a zone can be a designated storage area, hoist or loading bay on-site. Sub-Contractors when booking a delivery, confirm which zone they require the materials to be loaded or unloaded. Upon safe receipt of the vehicle, at the designated zone, Munnelly Operatives will unload the vehicle using the safest means available and move materials to the required zone.
On large inner city projects, where space is a premium, Munnelly Logistics is capable of sourcing, managing and operating a range of off-site storage and transfer solutions. These solutions include vehicle holding zones and consolidation centres and are also unlimited to rail, water and road.
