Our Delivery Management System (DMS) is designed to co-ordinate the entire booking process, preventing any un-booked deliveries delaying major critical path deliveries.
Additionally the system ensures that bookings for deliveries/collections and plant requirements are scheduled; creating awareness and efficiency whilst also allowing the flow of materials onto a project. The software enables real-time reservation scheduling, easy delivery dispatch and instantaneous delivery management through route optimization.
Across our airport operations, the delivery system most commonly utilised is ‘air-build’. Our Logistics Managers and Buyers are fully trained and versed in its applications, ensuring that the flow of materials and peoples from landside to airside is never delayed.
Air-build and its use as a DMS helps turn delivery appointment scheduling from a logistical challenge into a competitive advantage.
A great feature is that the DMS can be displayed on large wide screen monitors; to provide a visual schedule for all project Operatives. In addition, Health & Safety updates and project changes can be displayed, creating an interactive notice board for the project.
