Providence Tower Promises a Fresh Start for New Providence Wharf

Balfour Beatty has enlisted Munnelly Logistics with supplying a full logistics and waste package for their tallest building yet, Providence Tower. The 43-storey tower is a residential scheme for Landor (a wholly owned subsidiary of The Ballymore Group) with unbeatable views of Canary Wharf.     

Providence Tower provides 484 residential units, ideally located in New Providence Wharf – next to the River Thames. 343 of these units are situated within the tower, with the remaining 141 units located in a 12-storey podium that adjoins the tower with affordable apartments. What’s more Providence Tower is one of the tallest residential towers in London and will boast first-class amenities like a spectacular Sky Garden with 360 degree views of the London skyline on the 43rd floor.

On site currently the team work tirelessly to ensure health and safety and environmental considerations are treated with the utmost importance and tended to with diligence. An example of the special environmental practices enforced are the modularised mechanical and electrical services which are made off site to be delivered as required, thus reducing on site construction timescales and vehicle movement to and from the development.

With the main construction works programmed to be completed around Christmastime, it won’t be long before the lucky new tenants of Providence Tower can enjoy all the amenities it has to offer, including: 24/7 concierge service; access to a top-notch fitness and exercise centre complete with personal trainers, professional gymnasium apparatuses, a circuit training track and aerobics studio; a Hydrocentre equipped with sauna, steam room, hydropool, kids pool, 25m lap pool, experience showers, and relaxation areas;  and the opportunity to use  the New Providence Wharf Business Centre and Spa. The Resident’s apartments are also the ultimate in luxury, presenting tenants with: private balconies and elegant open plan living; hotel style bathrooms made of quality material; spacious bedrooms; and kitchens that any chef would be proud of.

Providence Tower will be a wonderful addition to the revitalised area of New Providence Wharf and has resulted in another successful partnership thanks to the dedicated Operatives and Senior Staff that are part of this project. Neil Russell, Site Manager for Balfour Beatty, wrapped it up by saying that the efficiency of the accommodating staff involved means the project’s needs are met at any given time, which has led to “…a good service all-round…” . We can’t wait to see what new heights this development can reach!
